Maintenance

Battery replacement.

Load-tested diagnosis, correctly sized batteries, and professional installation — for lead-acid packs that are past their prime.

What we see

What commonly fails on a golf cart battery pack

Reduced range

A cart that won’t hold a charge through a full outing anymore usually has one or more weak cells dragging down the whole pack.

Won’t hold a charge at all

A pack that reads full on the charger but dies almost immediately in use is a classic sign of internal cell failure.

Swollen or leaking cells

Heat and age cause lead-acid cells to swell or leak electrolyte — a safety issue as much as a performance one, and not something to keep running.

Corroded terminals

Corrosion buildup on terminals and trays causes poor contact and can mimic a battery problem even when the cells themselves are fine.

How we handle it

Our approach.

We load-test the full pack to see exactly which cells are failing, rather than replacing batteries that don't need it. If replacement is the right call, we install correctly sized batteries for your cart's voltage and duty cycle, clean the terminals and trays, and verify the charging system is working properly before you leave.

Turnaround

Same-day in most cases when the correct batteries are in stock — it's one of the fastest jobs we do.

Pickup

Pickup isn't something we currently offer — bring your cart to either showroom, or call us to talk through options if yours isn't drivable.

This service is offered at both our Largo and Sarasota showrooms — not just one location.
