What commonly goes wrong on a Club Car
Controller faults
Precedent and Onward models run on electronic speed controllers that can throw fault codes from moisture intrusion, corroded connectors, or age. We read the code, not just guess.
OBC (onboard computer) drop-outs
Intermittent loss of power on newer Precedent/Onward carts often traces back to the OBC or its wiring harness rather than the batteries themselves.
Clutch & drivetrain wear on gas models
Gas Club Cars use a centrifugal clutch that wears with mileage — it shows up as hesitation on take-off or a burning smell.
How we handle it
Our approach.
We start with a full electrical and drivetrain diagnostic rather than swapping parts on a guess. Once we've isolated the fault, we quote the repair before we touch anything further, using OEM or OEM-equivalent Club Car parts.
Turnaround
Most electrical diagnostics are same-day to 2 business days. Drivetrain, clutch, or OBC replacement work typically runs 3–5 business days depending on parts availability.

Pickup isn't something we currently offer — bring your cart to either showroom, or call us to talk through options if yours isn't drivable.
