E-Z-GO repair.

PDS controller diagnostics, solenoid replacement, and charging system repair for E-Z-GO TXT, RXV, and Freedom models.

What we see

What commonly goes wrong on an E-Z-GO

PDS controller errors

E-Z-GO’s Precision Drive System throws distinct fault codes for throttle, speed, and current faults — we read the code with a proper PDS diagnostic tool instead of guessing at parts.

No-power / clicking solenoid

A single loud click with no movement usually points to a failed solenoid or a bad ground connection, especially on carts that sit for long stretches between uses.

Charging port corrosion

RXV and TXT charging receptacles corrode over time, especially in coastal, humid storage conditions — it shows up as a cart that won’t take a charge even though the charger tests fine.

Speed sensor faults

A speed sensor going bad causes jerky, inconsistent acceleration on PDS-equipped carts rather than a smooth start.

How we handle it

Our approach.

We run a full PDS diagnostic before recommending any parts, then repair or replace only what's actually failed — controller, solenoid, charging port, or speed sensor — using E-Z-GO OEM or OEM-equivalent components.

Turnaround

Diagnostics are typically same-day. Controller or board replacement runs 2–4 business days depending on parts availability, since some PDS boards are special-order.

Pickup

Pickup isn't something we currently offer — bring your cart to either showroom, or call us to talk through options if yours isn't drivable.

This service is offered at both our Largo and Sarasota showrooms — not just one location.
